Our excursion will start from the so-called “eruptive theater” of 2002. We will begin with the visit of the craters formed in those years from which started the casting that destroyed the area of Piano Provenzana. Our day will continue with the crossing of the “lunar” landscapes, made of ancient craters and black lava flows. We will be surprised by the sudden change of places, from thick beech forests to desolate skiing slopes. Our excursion will take us to one of the most famous caves of Etna, the “Grotta dei Lamponi”, an example of lava tunnel. We will spend the whole day completely absorbed in the nature of Etna, with an amazing view, from the summit of Etna, to the coasts of South Italy and the Aeolian Islands.

Through the landscapes

Raspberry Cave

Our excursion will take us to one of the most famous caves of Etna, the “Grotta dei Lamponi”, an example of a lava tunnel.

Breath-taking view

We will spend the whole day immersed in the Etna nature, and our eyes can range from the summit of Etna, to the coasts of southern Italy and to the Aeolian Islands.
