After pick up from your accomodation we will reach Etna’s area. Our tour will start with a visit in an abandonated basalt quarry, were is possible to see layers of old lava flows, which constitute the structure of Etna.

Our tour will continue to visit lateral craters of an eruption occurred in 1892, and before leaving Etna we will visit a lava cave inside!

In the afternoon we will go to Castelmola, a beautiful medieval village upstream of Taormina. Free time in Taormina, the pearl of Ionian Sea.

All activities may be subject to variations in case of unfavorable weather conditions at the discretion of the guide. From 0 to 4 years old children do not pay and from 5 to 10 pay half.
