This excursion goess through the paths of the west side of Etna, the less civilized

and the most suitable area for those who have a great desire to walk! Crossing the forest we will reach the area of the last lateral eruption that, in 1974, affected the lateral craters called Monti De Fiore. From there it will be possible to appreciate the volcanic landscapes that

Etna gives, with the various other side cones of different eras and lava flows that, in the course of history, have become “wide” in the woods, painting a unique setting where the dynamism of the volcano shows itself with all its irrepressible charm.

We will continue with the visit of lava caves and monumental trees, escaped for centuries from the blind fury of the volcanic activities.
